IMRA's Femtolite F/G/H series of compact fiber laser systems are ideal femtosecond light sources for metrology applications in industrial environments. 2. FD series
Optical fiber transmission of femtosecond pulses
The FD system is uniquely designed to deliver femtosecond laser pulses to the user's application via fiber optic cable. FD lasers are primarily used for imaging proteins and can be used in many other applications where convenient delivery of FS pulses is required. The FD/D-FD-1000S provides over 1 W of average fiber transmission power, as well as high-speed blanking capabilities of less than 1 μs. Nonlinear optical microscopy is a good application area for this laser.
