The advantage of a UV laser machine is that it can achieve a better result for softer materials such as plastic as compared to fiber laser. Fiber lasers will burn the material and cause the plastic material to swell up, whereby UV laser will remove many smaller particles from the surface, which means that the accuracy and sharpness of the engraving is secured.
